We are excited to announce that the Pyramid Recalibration is now compatible with the fusionTrackTM 250. Medical device manufacturers using the fusionTrackTM 250 in their navigation or robotic platforms can now benefit from the same fast, locally managed recalibration workflow already available for the fusionTrackTM 500.
Earlier this year, Atracsys introduced the Pyramid Recalibration, an on-site recalibration solution that enables medical device manufacturers to restore factory-level accuracy on their optical tracking systems in under 20 minutes, without shipping equipment back to the factory. This compatibility is delivered through a new validated release of the Atracsys Toolbox, the software used to manage the Pyramid Recalibration workflow. In addition to fusionTrackTM 250 support, this release includes:
- Improved installation process to prevent compatibility issues with Windows
- Enhanced acquisition workflow for the fusionTrackTM 500
- On-demand calibration certificate generation allowing operators to generate a certificate for the calibration currently present on the device
