ASTM Phantom
ASTM Phantom
At Atracsys, we trust that we offer the best performance when it comes to optical trackers. This is why we also provide the tools for objectively assessing the tracking accuracy by means of a specific phantom. This metrological item is carefully crafted from a single solid block of premium-grade aluminium with divots scattered at its surface. Each phantom has the exact position of its divots measured by a high-end Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) by an independent company (certificate provided with each product).
The phantom is meant to serve as a base for the procedure described in the ASTM standard F2554 (F2554-22), the most recognized standard for tracking accuracy testing in computer-aided surgery systems. Its design follows closely the guidelines and comply with all the requirements described in the standard. Nonetheless, after many iterations and trials, we think that our take at this phantom provides the best user experience without compromising the reliability.
Accuracy Verification Tool (AVT)
Accuracy Verification Tool (AVT)
The Accuracy Verification Tool (AVT) is a product designed by Atracsys. It allows the user to check the trueness of an optical tracking device. Atracsys has designed and manufactured an Accuracy Verification Tool that allows its customers to conduct on-site accuracy verification tests at any time.
The AVT enables customers to ensure that the optical tracking system is within the range of accuracy that has been defined by the needs of the customer’s project. An AVT report is issued upon completion of each test, and Atracsys technical team receives a copy of the report automatically to be able to advise its customers, in case any additional technical support is needed. It consists of an artefact and an acquisition software. Whilst the AVT does not calibrate or allow re-calibration, it provides an insight to whether or not the unit in use requires to be returned to Atracsys for maintenance.

The AVT artefact is a rigid body with a geometry known to a high accuracy. Every AVT artefact is metrologically checked. (A metrology report should be available with your AVT artefact shipment). The AVT software guides the user in moving the AVT artefact through the working volume of the tracking system. During the process, data is recorded and saved in several files. Those files are automatically sent to Atracsys for processing at the end of the capture. The resulting report is then sent back to the user by email.

Sub-millimetric precision 140 μm RMS up to 1.4 m
USB 3.0 type C complete access to images and data
Active and passive markers tracked simultaneously
The compact spryTrack 300 is composed of two cameras designed to acquire infrared camera images, as well as, to detect and track fiducials (reflective spheres, disks and/or IR-LEDs) with high precision.
Triangulation enables retrieving 3D position of each fiducial with sub-millimetric accuracy. When several fiducials are affixed to a marker, its pose (orientation and position) is calculated with 6 degrees of freedom.
The spryTrack 300 has the ability to provide 3D positions of fiducials and/or pose of markers, as well as retrieve structured-light images for dense 3D reconstruction.
The SDK allows access to data at different stages of processing, starting from raw images, individual 3D positions of fiducials, and up to the pose of markers. The SDK also provides multi-level fault checking. This makes it possible to access error information in real-time at any processing stage: fiducial occlusion level, stereo de-calibration, marker registration error and more.
The spryTrack offers a USB 3.0 Type C connection for power and data.

USB 3.0 type C complete access to images and data
Active and passive markers tracked simultaneously
Atracsys is proud to introduce the spryTrack system that represents the vision of the future for computer assisted surgery. A compact solution for integration into your application.
In addition, it is:
Adaptable: can be adjusted to any set without any wires.
Affordable: as it offers competitive pricing in the marketplace.
Accessible: as it is easy to retrieve data on your tablet via Bluetooth.
Autonomous: as it has battery power, which is optional.
The extremely compact spryTrack is composed of two cameras designed to detect and track fiducials (reflective spheres, disks and/or IR-LEDs) with high precision in real time video streams. Triangulation enables retrieving 3D position of each fiducial with sub-millimetric accuracy. When several fiducials are affixed to a marker, its pose (orientation and position) is calculated with 6 degrees of freedom (x,y,z,α,β,γ). The spryTrack has the ability to provide 3D positions of the fiducials, and/or poses of the markers.
The spryTrack offers both a USB 3.0 Type C (for power and/or data) as well as a Bluetooth connection (for data only) allowing a wireless link to a tablet on which the navigation application runs. A PC is no more needed. An optional battery pack enables complete mobility.
